Two Months Ago
Valerie had walked down the streets of Italy in her hot pink heels, holding onto the beige coat that she had on. It was getting cold in Venice and a wrong day to wear a mint green maxi skirt. She had lowered her sunglasses down to the bridge of her nose, sighing softly as she crossed her arms. She was finally out of Korea and out of the scandals that everyone had been throwing at her. Things had been really crazy when she had left. People were telling her different things between her, Donghae and Junhyung. She didn’t even understand how they could even think of things like that.
She wasn’t engaged to Junhyung. They weren’t even together. Sure, she sort of liked him but…she knew that there was nothing else between them. It was some sort of infatuation or something that helped her slowly get over Donghae.
She wasn’t dating Donghae either. Not again. She wasn’t exactly sure if they could even be in that same position again. After knowing that he had been cheating on her. In truth, he hadn’t been cheating on her for long but it still hurt her the same way. She just knew that nothing could happen between them anymore.
Valerie just had to get away from it all. It was ruining her image in the group. From that innocent and fun loving girl, she somehow turned into the exact opposite. Just because of the different things that anti-fans have been bashing at her. It was only right that she got out of the country while her manager and the girls helped her clean her name out. She really couldn’t do anything anymore. Even with all the press conferences that she had been doing, nothing had gone right.
She took a deep breath and moved her eyes down to the flight of stairs that was ahead of her, just walking down before pulling out her camera once more. She took a couple shots of the beautiful scenery that Venice had to offer. Valerie knew that this would be the best place to find herself again. She was sent here to at least think through things and understand what & how to deal with her current problems.
For now, she just wanted to be a bit more relaxed. Valerie could think of her problems later but not now. She could just enjoy her stay here and worry later. Who knows what she could miss out just because she worried too much?
As she had moved her camera lens towards the crowd of people, Valerie had adjusted the focus slightly and took another photo. She had noticed something a little familiar though when she had looked through the lens of her camera. She had lowered her camera, tilting her head to the left slightly as she narrowed her eyes to check if she wasn’t hallucinating.
She started walking, her eyes glued to the person that she had noticed earlier. She really wasn’t making a mistake. She knew who this person was. Well, he was clearly an idol. There were a couple fans there taking pictures with him. Valerie took a deep breath and laughed to herself, running her fingers through her hair. She sighed softly and walked over towards the small crowd that was slowly growing around the idol.
Valerie lifted her hand up, waving it repeatedly as she called out, “Yunho-ah!”
The male had turned his head away from the crowd, to where Valerie was at. It had made the female fans turn their heads towards her. She had laughed slightly and pushed her hair away from her face as she made her way towards her friend, shaking her head as she stood there in front of him.
“I had no idea you were going to be here!” she told him as a couple cameras flashed as she spoke.
Yunho had shrugged his shoulders, giving her his signature smile before replying, “It’s not like I knew you were going to be here too.”
She had shook her head, rolling her eyes. “Whatever.” She spoke, moving her sunglasses up to her head. “Are you here with someone?”
The idol chuckled softly and gestured her to look to behind him. Valerie had lifted her head up, trying to see who it was. It was a guy as well, his back facing her, which made it harder for her to see who it was. After a couple moments, he had turned his head which made her widen her eyes and turn her eyes back to Yunho. Not wanting their eyes to meet.
“You’re with Changmin?” she asked him with raised eyebrows.
“….And you’re surprised because?”
“I don’t know. I thought you were more close with Jaejoong.”
“Either way. You know what happened. We’re just here to take a break.” Yunho spoke just before Changmin had walked over towards them with a smile on his face.
Shim Changmin or Choikang Changmin as how people knew him as. The maknae of DBSK and someone with the best vocals Valerie has ever heard of. From the news that she’s heard about him, he was also one of the most charismatic maknaes in the idol industry. She didn’t wonder why though. She just noticed that with him when she’d see him on the TV.
“You already found yourself a girl, hyung?” he asked Yunho with a smirk, nudging him.
Valerie and Yunho had both shot glares at the maknae, making him laugh and back away slightly.
“Don’t worry. I was just kidding.” He told them, running his fingers through the short black locks of his hair. His eyes had moved down towards Valerie, his dark brown eyes meeting with her almost hazel eyes.
“You’re Valerie right? Sunshine Starlight?”
She had nodded slowly, a smile forming on her face. She had extended her hand towards him, “Exactly. I'm Val—“
“Unnie, can I please have your autograph?” she heard a fan talking from behind. Valerie had smiled to herself before turning around to face her fan. She nodded her head, reaching for the pen that she had with her and writing her signature on the notebook that she brought.
“Thank you Valerie unnie!” the fan spoke, taking a candid picture of her before running off.
Valerie laughed slightly and shook her head as she turned her head to face the two boys behind her. Yunho had smiled at them, before he had said, “How about you two get yourself acquainted first while I work my way with the fans?”
“Oppa, I could just come and meet you guys next time. You guys look busy any—“
“It’s fine Val.” Yunho spoke with a smile on his face, waving his hand slightly before walking over towards the fan. He had done something that made the girls swoon.
“He really is good with things like this, huh?” Changmin said, making Valerie move her eyes back to face him. She had nodded her head slowly and laughed.
“You’re more of a serious guy, aren’t you?”
He had nodded his head slowly. There were a couple cameras taking their pictures but they both didn’t seem to mind it.
“Anyways, I should formally introduce myself to you.” He told her, extending his hand to her. “Changmin. Choika--Shim Changmin. From DBSK.” He had added with a wink.
Valerie couldn’t help but laugh when he had winked. It wasn’t that type of wink that would make girls swoon. It was more of the ones that would just like a little bit wacky & would just end up looking cute. Not that she thought he was cute.
She had slipped her hand towards his, shaking it a bit. “Valerie. Valerie Seung.” She had introduced herself with a grin on her face.
All of a sudden, he had pouted his lips at her and raised his eyebrows. “You’re not going to at least let me know your real name?”
Valerie laughed once more, pushing a couple of her golden locks away from her face. She took a deep breath and straightened her back before saying, “Then….I’m Jae Hwa. Seung Jae Hwa.”
“It’s a pleasure to meet you Seung Jae Hwa.” He spoke with a grin on his face.
“The pleasure’s all mine Shim Changmin.”

Valerie was at another interview yet again. She had just gotten back with Sunshine Starlight a week ago and a lot of people have already hit her with interviews. It was her third interview for the week, asking about the scandals she had left behind.
She sat down on the chair opposite of her interviewer, fixing her hair slightly as the director has signaled that their segment was going to go on in a couple of seconds now. She took a deep breath and closed her eyes for a second, wanting to make sure that she was calm when the interview started.
"5.....4....3...2..1."
[SK]: Hello there Showbiz Korea viewers! As promised, we have brought you all a very special guest to the show. She has been in a mini-hiatus for the past two months and is officially back to join her other members in Sunshine Starlight. Here is Ms. Valerie Seung!
[V]: -waves- Hello there everybody~ Sunshine Starlight's Valerie here! -bows slightly-
[SK]: Well, Valerie...you have been gone for how long again?
[V]: A couple of months, I believe. I'm not quite sure.
[SK]: And you've been travelling in Europe right? -Valerie nods- I'm pretty sure your fans would be very curious to know what exactly has Valerie been doing for the past months.
[V]: -tilts head- Hm, I have been...dealing with the scandals that have been thrown at me. With my love life and all the other factors in me. Ah, during that period...I also wanted it to be a little special when I finally come back. For my fans and for my members who haven't abandoned me during my hiatus.
[SK]: -nods- Something special? And what might that exactly be?
[V]: -laughs slightly- Well, I actually have recorded a single during the past months. I had written a song back then, something to just serve as a therapy during the hard times of my scandalous phase. It would be out soon though.
[SK]: Could you tell us a bit more of your single?
[V]: First of all, it's called 'Heaven'. It was a song that talks about a certain person that I'm very thankful for. For always being there for me even in my lowest moments. I'm pretty sure everyone would easily understand who this person is, but I would also want to dedicate it for my fans, who have stuck by me throughout everything. -smiles-
[SK]: We'll all make sure to look forward to that single then! -nods- Now, would it be alright if I moved on to a little personal question?
[V]: I guess so. -shrugs, laughing-
[SK]: During the past months, has there been a certain guy that has caught your attention or someone that has been waiting for you to come back?

[V]: I did actually. -smiles- He's...well....Korean and was on vacation with his hyung in Italy. I just know his hyung and I recognized him when we were at...a museum I believe.

[V]: He's is an idol, but I really don't want to say his name just yet because I might end up creating another scandal but....he's from a really famous group.

[ NEWS ] Sunshine Starlight's Valerie Seung spotted at the airport!
After her two month hiatus, Valerie had gotten back from Milan where she had been modeling and clearing out the different issues that had been hit on her before she had left Korea. Now she back to work with Sunshine Starlight once more and continue her activities as an idol. It was also seen that she's sporting a more mature look than before, could it possibly help her in any way?

Valerie took a deep breath as she had lifted her aviators up to her head once she had gotten to the arrivals lounge. Her chocolate brown eyes had scanned the area, looking for the people who'd be picking her up. She had taken a deep breath, pulling her suitcase as she walked down the marble tiles. Then she heard a shriek come from behind her, she had whipped her head back to see who it was. She had plastered on a smile upon seeing that there were a group of fans that were there waiting for her.
She took a deep breath and kept a friendly look on her face, knowing that it was just a couple. She was lucky today, knowing that a swarm could have came on her. She greeted them carefully and made sure she said the right words, signing what they wanted as well as taking a couple pictures with them. They had left after, letting her feel a bit more relaxed now.
Valerie sighed heavily as she stood there in the building, waiting for her members to pick her up. "Where are they?" she muttered to herself, pushing her hair back. She looked at her watch, biting on her glossed lower lip slightly. She turned her head from side to side once more, checking if they were already there. It must have been the traffic that had kept them. It was a weekend and a lot of people were off from work.
“Valerie?” she had heard a voice from behind her. It wasn’t one of the girls that for sure. It wasn’t even a female. She had turned herself around to face the person calling her, eyes widening to see who it was.
“Donghae? What are you doing here?”
The idol chuckled softly and adjusted the black leather jacket that he had on. He looked over to his side, seeing that another Super Junior member was there. It was one of his best friends, Eunhyuk. His right-hand friend. He turned his attention back to Valerie, smiling slightly as he had replied to her question.
“Well, Eunhyuk and I just came from Japan. We had some things to do there for Opera’s promotion. I see you’re finally back though. Where’d you go again?” he had asked her, tilting his head and crossing his arms just as Eunhyuk went over to talk with their manager.
“Milan, Paris…just around Europe. I just needed to get out of here. There was too much rumors and scandals and…my manager thought that it would just be best if I got out for awhile.” Valerie told him with a small smile on her face, tucking a couple strands of her hair behind her ear.
Donghae nodded his head slightly, shoving his hands into his pockets as he had let their eyes meet. Valerie didn’t really understand how she was with Donghae at the moment. They’ve stayed friends now but they did talk a lot over the internet while she was gone. She had taken a small breath of air, before smiling quite widely to see that her members already arrived.
“VALERIE!” Blossom had screamed, which was unlike her but it could have been because they haven’t seen each other for awhile now.
Valerie had let out a laugh, shaking her head as she turned to Donghae. “I guess I’ll talk to you soon, okay?” she told him with a grin on her face.
“We need to catch up soon.” He told her, nodding as he ran his fingers through his hair.
“That is true. So, I’ll call you?”
“Yeah. I guess I’ll be waiting.”
She smiled at him and moved over towards him, giving him a hug as she laughed. “It was nice to see you again Hae.” She told him before kissing his cheek lightly and turning her attention over the members who were making their way towards her.
She had ran over towards them, even in her high heels and her heavy suitcase. Valerie couldn’t help but shriek and pull them all into a tight hug as they were all together again.
“Oh my god, I missed you girls so much!” Valerie exclaimed as she was in their warm embrace.
They pulled away slowly allowing Kyri to hold onto her shoulders and eyeing her from head to toe.
“Omo, what have you been doing Val? You look so different now!” Kayla said with a laugh as she hugged her once more.
“I’ve been doing a lot actually. Learning more about fashion and music and all those stuff.” She replied with a smile as she shook her head slightly.
“Seriously Val, we all have to catch up soon.” Kryi spoke with a nod as she wrapped her arms around the girl.
“I know, I know! So, this means you guys have to get your arms off me and let’s go back home! “
Valerie had laughed it off and smiled as her friends had taken her other things, volunteering to help her out. She had taken a deep breath and looked over at the two members that stood next to her. The rest have been too excited to get back to their car.
“It's great to have you back Val.” Blossom told her with a smile as she had wrapped an arm around her shoulder, leading her out of the building and letting paparazzi start taking their photos.
It really was great to be back.

She had plastered on a smile upon seeing that there were a group of fans that were there waiting for her.
She took a deep breath and kept a friendly look on her face, knowing that it was just a couple. She was lucky today, knowing that a swarm could have came on her. She greeted them carefully and made sure she said the right words, signing what they wanted as well as taking a couple pictures with them. They had left after, letting her feel a bit more relaxed now.
Valerie sighed heavily as she stood there in the building, waiting for her members to pick her up. "Where are they?" she muttered to herself, pushing her hair back. She looked at her watch, biting on her glossed lower lip slightly. She turned her head from side to side once more, checking if they were already there. It must have been the traffic that had kept them. It was a weekend and a lot of people were off from work.
“Valerie?” she had heard a voice from behind her. It wasn’t one of the girls that for sure. It wasn’t even a female. She had turned herself around to face the person calling her, eyes widening to see who it was.
“Donghae? What are you doing here?”
The idol chuckled softly and adjusted the black leather jacket that he had on. He looked over to his side, seeing that another Super Junior member was there. It was one of his best friends, Eunhyuk. His right-hand friend. He turned his attention back to Valerie, smiling slightly as he had replied to her question.
“Well, Eunhyuk and I just came from Japan. We had some things to do there for Opera’s promotion. I see you’re finally back though. Where’d you go again?” he had asked her, tilting his head and crossing his arms just as Eunhyuk went over to talk with their manager.
“Milan, Paris…just around Europe. I just needed to get out of here. There was too much rumors and scandals and…my manager thought that it would just be best if I got out for awhile.” Valerie told him with a small smile on her face, tucking a couple strands of her hair behind her ear.
Donghae nodded his head slightly, shoving his hands into his pockets as he had let their eyes meet. Valerie didn’t really understand how she was with Donghae at the moment. They’ve stayed friends now but they did talk a lot over the internet while she was gone. She had taken a small breath of air, before smiling quite widely to see that her members already arrived.
“VALERIE!” Blossom had screamed, which was unlike her but it could have been because they haven’t seen each other for awhile now.
Valerie had let out a laugh, shaking her head as she turned to Donghae. “I guess I’ll talk to you soon, okay?” she told him with a grin on her face.
“We need to catch up soon.” He told her, nodding as he ran his fingers through his hair.
“That is true. So, I’ll call you?”
“Yeah. I guess I’ll be waiting.”
She smiled at him and moved over towards him, giving him a hug as she laughed. “It was nice to see you again Hae.” She told him before kissing his cheek lightly and turning her attention over the members who were making their way towards her.
She had ran over towards them, even in her high heels and her heavy suitcase. Valerie couldn’t help but shriek and pull them all into a tight hug as they were all together again.
“Oh my god, I missed you girls so much!” Valerie exclaimed as she was in their warm embrace.
They pulled away slowly allowing Kyri to hold onto her shoulders and eyeing her from head to toe.
“Omo, what have you been doing Val? You look so different now!” Kayla said with a laugh as she hugged her once more.
“I’ve been doing a lot actually. Learning more about fashion and music and all those stuff.” She replied with a smile as she shook her head slightly.
“Seriously Val, we all have to catch up soon.” Kryi spoke with a nod as she wrapped her arms around the girl.
“I know, I know! So, this means you guys have to get your arms off me and let’s go back home! “
Valerie had laughed it off and smiled as her friends had taken her other things, volunteering to help her out. She had taken a deep breath and looked over at the two members that stood next to her. The rest have been too excited to get back to their car.
“It's great to have you back Val.” Blossom told her with a smile as she had wrapped an arm around her shoulder, leading her out of the building and letting paparazzi start taking their photos.
It really was great to be back.
